Welcome Preparing Your Bike What to Pack Where I've Been Other Links
View from Blue Ridge Parkway
Looking out over the Appalachian Mountains from the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina. Close to heaven for a motorcycle, except that the speed limit is too low, and weekends can be swarming with s-l-o-w RVs.
Colorado's Highway 14 mountains
A view from Highway 14 in the Colorado Rockies, between Walden and Fort Collins. An incredibly scenic drive, but just about every two-lane road in the Colorado Rockies is incredibly scenic.

This giant spider made from a VW Beetle is east of Carson City, Nevada on Highway 50. I didn't get a picture the first year I rode past, so the next year I had to go back and see it again.

Rock Store on a rainy day
A scene from the world-famous Rock Store north of Los Angeles. This is a big hang-out for bikers from all over southern California, but apparently not when it's a rainy weekday. The day that I rode past, it was closed and I didn't see another bike on the road. That's okay, because I still had a great ride.
